Crocker Highlands is an affluent neighborhood of Oakland, California. Lying adjacent to the city of Piedmont, Crocker Highlands is bordered by Lakeshore Avenue to the west and Mandana Boulevard to the north. With so many large and beautifully maintained homes it is difficult to know exactly where Crocker Highlands ends and the city of Piedmont begins. Just 10 miles to downtown San Francisco, Crocker Highlands offers several transportation options as well as convenient proximity to the Lakeshore Business District that offers dining, shopping and the local gem- Grand Lake Theater.

A quiet drive through the Crocker Highlands neighborhood is like traveling back to a simpler time. You’ll see families out with strollers, folks walking their dogs and catching up on neighborhood stories. Crocker Highlands was designed and built from 1917 through the 1930’s, planned and developed by Walter Leimert. As part of the Lakeshore Homeowners Association, the oldest HOA west of the Mississippi, Lakeshore/Crocker pays a very low annual fee to maintain the beautiful blooms of the medians. Homes in Crocker Highlands are typically assigned to  Crocker Highlands Elementary and Edna Brewer Middle schools.
